J.K.Rowling is the creator of the famous wizard with the lightning bolt-shaped scar, Harry Potter, a fourteen-year-old orphan. Whenever anybody starts reading Harry Potter, they'll immediately forget where they are. They'll escape in Harry Potter's world, where loyal friends, magical creatures, and wands are real. |
Also, Rowling is an interesting person who had loads of struggles as a single parent; but she reached higher than she expected and became the most famous children's book author in the world.

"I think when I've finished the seven Harry Potter books, I will be finished with the world," Rowling once said. "It will make me very sad to say goodbye, but it must be done." |
She said that some of the characters in the book, like Ron, Hermoine, and Professor Lockhart related to real-life people she knew.

Daniel Radcliffe
As director Chris Columbus said, "Dan walked into the room and we all knew we had found Harry."
Well, I haven't really decided what I want to be yet... I'm definitely very interested in it, but there are a number of other things I'm very interested in as well -- music, writing... scripts and things, but especially autism which I want to go to the university maybe, and study.
I think the Great Hall scenes were the best. All the kids were there, 360 or something extras, and it was really fun to film. Hedwig comes in, carrying the broom...

Rupert Grint
When Rupert heard of the auditions for Harry Potter he sent in his pic and when he didnt' get a response he made a script and taped himself acting as Ron. And he also dressed up as his FEMALE drama teacher and acted like her. Then, he made a rap saying why he should be Ron. Obviosly they liked him and he got the part as Ron!
Rupert's favorite word: Voldemort. 'I like the way it sounds in your mouth, but I really shouldn't be saying that.'
